Thats what I love about the Detroit River.....the duty free store on the Canadian side. I ca'nt afford the Crown Special Reserve here. But it sure is cheap on the way back from the Windsor Ballet.

I definitely prefer beer over liquor, so you're not alone. I can't think of a straight liquor I can drink without making that cringe face afterward. I like many different kinds of beer though. And to the poster that mentioned an orange slice in Sam Adams White Ale above (it's too many posts back for me to go find it), don't drink it with an orange slice. It's not a fruity beer. It's got a bit of ginger and cinnamon to it. Save the orange for the Summer Ale. It's the one with Citrus. Enjoy the White Ale for what it is.

And sorry for contributing to the thread-jacking, but I was reading through and I've got my opinions about alcohol.

I'll try to stop by there and check it out. I'm staying at some comfort inn on Holly rd not sure how far away that is from dealer. Training at oscar w larson co. Servicing gas pumps.
