I'm at 482.7 and haven't changed heads or throttle body. I figure I will get 500 RWHP easy with a set of AFR heads and Nick Williams 102mm throttle body. I do have a cam, so it's not strictly bolt-ons.

Define Full Bolt on.

We took an LS3 Bolted on , Headers, Cam, Blower and injectors and put down 800 RWHP with supporting LPE fuel system.

Parts are just bolted on and Tuned.

What are you basing that on? Good CAI adds 10-14 rwhp, VMax TB adds 7-9 RWHP, RX Catchcan will eliminate the oil ingestion caused detonation so that has a decent effect.....just the rear end parts are the only thing on the list that dosent make more power. Add those up and that is all way below $1k total with some decent gains.

Discuss if you have data to show this is not so.

Noticeable was the key word in my post. You honestly expect to feel 10 hp when you're already hoving around 400hp? The OP asked for "noticeable power".

My car dyno'd at less than stock with cat back exhaust, vmax TB and an intake, and so have others.

Didn't your "butt dyno" feel the increased power and "power roar" after spending a couple grand?

Absolutely, but I wouldn't call a cam swap cheap or easy. You'll feel 100hp difference, but not 10. If you want quick power that you can feel, long tube headers are where you wanna be with a tune to get the full benefit. Of course, then you have warranty worries. For the $$$ per pony, headers are hard to beat.

$5,000 @ 3.25/lb = worth is 1,538 lbs.
$5,000 @ 7/lb = worth is 714 lbs.

That's quite a bit of NOS, the OP never said how many Sundays. Of course you could get qty discount, or buy as you go.

We both already know all of this. And I also think that it would be best for the OP or anybody else to give you a call for their specific needs. As we both know that their isn't a one size fits all. Even as far as SC's go, their is no clear winner. So the real answer is... It just depends.

You should start with a CAI (cold air intake), long tube headers and high flow cats, and a tune.
That will give you around 40 - 45 rwhp and make your car significantly faster. We have lots of guys running low 12s in the 1/4 mile with just basic bolt ons.

Then if that isn't enough, you can look into adding a cam package or going with forced injection (supercharger, turbo, or nitrous).
