Other 5th Gen Forums? - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

Are there any sister or 'rival' 5th Gen forums out there? In the early part of the '00s I had a Grand Am GT and there seemed to be a number of forums dedicated to it. The Camaro has a much wider following but I can't name another site that's tailored to just this generation.

I'm a member of a few camaro forums. Out of all of them this is the most active.

As far as I know, for newer Camaro's theirs also a site called Modern Camaro. From what I've heard, C5 is a lot better and much more active. Don't know how long this thread will last though, not sure if we're supposed to discuss other forums.

The other one sucks in comparison. I hate their adds that are posts in threads. Turned me off from going there.

ModernCamaro.com (formerly 5thgen.org) is the only other forum specific to the 5th generation Camaro that I know of. I haven't visited them much, but the main thing that I hear about them is that they are much smaller & less active than we are. There is also CamaroZ28.com but I think they have more of a 4th gen focus than 5th gen.

Many of our members have joined at least one of those other sites.

Yeah there is ModernCamaro.com, CamaroZ28.com, and Camaro.com but this site is the only one that keeps consistent updates, news, and rumors on anything Camaro. CamaroZ28.com has a podcast which one of the hosts is one of the 12 desciples that gets called by GM to review and provide opinions on any new additions and models for the Camaro, but that's pretty much all that they have. If you are wanting to look for another forum site that provides news that doesn't get publish here then CamaroZ28.com is the one that you'd want to go to but the news is exact as here, they don't post any events that forum members hosted, and don't be surprised to be hearing constant Camaro5.com bashing on their podcasts and threads. Forum wise, this site is by far the best. It has the most activity, more members, far more gathering and meet posts that the others really can't compete with. And don't forget about the Camaro5Fest that the moderators put together every year.
