That Utah GM site needs to do update to the latest word press. It's confusing and it would be nice to post images directly to the site.

Camaro SL,UT Club Christmas Party 2011
Here are pictures from last night's SL,UT Christmas Party. If you missed it you missed out on some good times. We had a Forza 4 tournament. You had to drive a bone stock 2010 Camaro SS around Laguna Seca. Fastest lap time won a detail job from Dirty Rick's detailing with a bottle of Adam's detail spray and Adam's Single Soft micro fiber towel. 2nd Place won a Maisto 1:18 Scale Die cast Camaro SS/RS RJT and third place won the very hard to find 2012 ZL1 Hot Wheels. The times were:
1. Branden 1:53:801 2. DarthV8R 1:54:103 3. JDP Jordan 1:55:.257 4. (tie) Mike L and Mike V both got 1:55:393 5.Spawn 1:55:819 6. sheslc4 2:26:234

So when my parents were ordering the 45th they had previously wanted a Red Jewel tint regular SS and of course found it discontinued. The dealer was able to tell them why.
Guess the actual pigment comes from Japan and its been unavailable since the earthquake. Who knew.
