Camaro acronym explanations

Maybe this should be a stickey?

Cruising the forum posts I often see various acronyms that some people are not familiar with. So if someone could put together a list of definitions it would be very helpful for many C5 members new and seasoned. Not like WTF (Why Transmission Failed) or LOL (Love Our Lingenfelter) but see the following:

BAP
MAF
MAP
FI
NA
LS3
L99
LS1
LSA
LS7
LS9
VVT
CIA
OEM

Please define and continue to add more...

BAP= Boost a pump. Axillary fuel pump that is engaged under wide open throttle on forced induction engines to provide more fuel when more air is introduced in to the combustion chamber.

MAP= Manifold absolute pressure. It is a form of tuning done to replace the MAF sensor as the primary air metering device. Commonly used in boost applications where a MAF can't keep up.
