I think you may have a little bit of a tough time finding an accurate measurement for this one. If you're measuring from the ground the measurement will change depending on whether the car is at stock ride height or dropped in some fashion, fuel load, or even items in the truck or passengers in the car.

With a little more information we might be able to help, but ground to bushing information might not be the best reference point.

Ok so iīm looking for the messurement when you lift the car up and lower it down, to where the tires reaches the ground.
And then from ground to front cradlebushing and ground to rear cradlebushing
Does this help?
Looking forward to any help I can get.

Holschen,

As stated before the measurements you are looking for will vary from car to car depending not only on ride height, but the type of shock used. I can get some measurements for you from my car. Keep in mind that the upper shock mount is not part of the subframe, so that will give you a few options on shock length and mounting. Depending on the height you mount it in the car you will probably be able to get better CV angles than what we have on our Gen V. One concearn though is the Gen V setup may be too wide to fit under the car. How much room do you have width wise? I'll get a track width measurement for you from the wheel mounting surface.

*EDIT*
Why do you want to use the 5th gen suspension? There are bolt in options for the 1st and 2nd gen F Bodies that would not require the amount of fabrication needed to fit the Gen V suspension under there.

Hi
Yes itīs a very tight fit,but my car have widened rear fenders,so stock 5gen suspension will fit

On a sidenote ,the 5gen rear is bolted on the firstgen,my problem is I have corvette c5 wheels and canīt get them on ,as the brakes interfere.
But if I put 1"wheelspacers they fit but is 1"outside of the fenders,so the wheels have to be reworked they are 12"wide 20x325/25tires
And Iīm going to put a real frame in the back ,so I would like to do it right this time, not just bolt it to the stock 1gen frame

I realy donīt know, because i can if it works...
I would be very greatful for your help

That is quite the project you have there Holschen. Not trying to be harsh here but it is quite a mess. If it were me, and I wanted IRS in a 1st Gen I would go with the setup that I linked above. Much easier to setup, and larger choice of wheels with a better looking offset.
If you are dead set on using the setup you have then you will probably be better off starting over with either another frame, or fabricating a new one. I don't think there are any measurements from the 5th gen that will help you as you already have all of the parts there.
I would definitely re think that upper shock mount. It needs to be part of, or tied into the frame rail. An aftermarket coil-over would be easier to mount, and you would have more to choose from in the way it mounts and the length/stroke of the shock.

When all of this work is being done the car needs to be sitting at your desired ride height. That will determine the mounting position of the IRS sub-frame in the car, and the shock mounts/length of the shocks.
