Cools not the word for it. If you really know your first generation Camaro's, Take a real good look on the top areas of the fenders. That Car in the ad has the rarest option to find on a first generation. See it? It has flasher turn signals indicators! So if the driver was not paying attention, and left the turn signal on he/she would see the flashing light on that side of the fender. If that car was around today, It would bring some cash just of the fact for that option alone. |

The light monitoring system consisted of two fender-mounted indicators and rear mounted one in the center of the rear window just above the rear seat backs so it was visible in the rear view mirror. They indicated left or right turn signal and head light through plastic fiber optic tubes. Yes a rare option, but not unless you have a build sheet and a super stock car that is very desirable will not bring big bucks by itself. The 68 that I am currently restoring standard V8 327 car came w/ that option and will retain it when done, but doesn't add a ton of value based off my experience. The parts are available in the reproduction market and if not made from the original molds are a very good reproduction as I can attest to.
U46 code and 1,755 Camaro in 68 came w/ this opption

Haha thats so awesome. I always love seeing these old commercials. They're usually so terrible that its hilarious lol. But this one is actually decent!
