I do not know who you are referring to - "GM of the Camaro Name" isn't a title we have at GM --

I am Cancelling my order and waiting until 2013 an if it is that light blue that is on the vette then 2014 here I come! Thanks father for keeping us all up to speed. At least now we have the correct information.

No other color will be offered for 2012. Fbodfather stated that in another post possible on another thread.

So per Scott's post we will likely see a new color palette (however small) in 2013 for the ZL1 and probably the entire camaro lineup. Somebody posted there are two blacks...but I thought there was only 1 shade of black?

I hope ZL1 comes out in that Light Blue that the Corvette has, that would look pretty clean with the black wheels I think!

There is only one black unless you get the 45th anniversary edition.

Fbodfather did not mention anything about the future color palette...

Because Camaro shares a common body and paint shop with several other vehicle lines at Oshawa, we must abide by decisions that affect more than just Camaro - and thus Imperial Blue Metallic will be discontinued very shortly. Offering it for only a week or so on the ZL1 is not practical as it would require paint re-validation for ZL1-unique components such as bumper fascias. Agreed even though I would love to change it back to blue.
