Glad it's not just me. I thought the front looked really doofy too, esp. compared to the current design. And it's really only those inside angles of the headlights. They just don't flow at all. It's like they hired Chris Bangle or something.

You can thank the European Union for the current styling of most mass produced cars coming out of Europe. Their new automotive regulations state that front fascias have to be almost flat so that when a car hits a pedestrian it won't be as bad as if a car had a sloped front end. Makers like Lamborghini and Ferrari, whose production numbers are relatively small in comparison, are allowed exemptions to most regulations.

I pulled up beside a new Mercedes a while back....rolled down my window and asked the guy if that was the new Hyundai......he got pretty pissed. Lol

Sorry, none of them are for me. I'll take any BMW over Mercedes. I never did like their styling.

Mercedes new 2012 CLS63= one of the best looking and performing sedans on the road. The current model SL's are dang sexy.

Everybody has a look they prefer hence all the different looking cars on the market at different price points. I still think the current model Challengers look better and tougher than the new Camaro.

Not the best looking car ever but certainly not the ugliest. The new CLS 63 is sex, I don't care what anybody says! Coming from a BMW man that says allot.
