I too work at Oshawa and I can tell you from experience that if anyone got caught giving out the high-level top secret public knowledge baseless and otherwise useless information that the Mole has given us, then that person would be fried on the spot. And possibly fired too.

Here's a pic of me and the Mole at work. I don't actually do labor, I just designed one of the assembly robots pictured behind us.
I would like to say... that's the minority, so it's not all he gets.

BTW, let me guess you designed Johnny 5 alive right? (Number 5's alive Stephaine!) So whats with covering your faces... GM knows who you are...

You know what would have been great, would be to have PS some transformers in doing the work

though!

A few years ago I had a '68 442 Olds that had been built in Canada. When I was going through the car and refurbishing the original interior I removed the water damaged cardboard rear panel. Not sure what this part is called, but it's where the rear speakers are located.I threw the panel in the box of my truck with some of the other old parts to take to the dump. When I was walking by the truck something on the upside down panel caught my eye.It looked like something was written on it with the glue used to attach it to the body metal. The writing was done on the metal so the letters were in reverse on the cardboard and it took me a second to decipher it.It said "GORD IS A C-NT",except where there is a dash there was the letter "U".I got a good laugh out of that!I sold that car to a hard working fourteen year old boy who had saved all of his hard earned money to buy an old 442.When we delivered the car to him I took him aside and told him this story. You could still see the message in glue on the metal,I left it alone. When he heard this his face turned a little red!I was wondering Mole,do you guys have any fun like that on the line nowadays?

think of parts and availability. I work for a Drug company that would love to put out more drugs. Problem is what it takes to make them isn't always available. Beside the line requires some down time to do maint.

Impius is there any way you can tell us about the kind of material used to make the tire valve cap or can you not leak any information even though you have covered your face and have not given us any personal information.

You have potential Impius. You have covered your tracks, maybe we can get some leaked information. Just be sure not to tell us anything personal like your favorite sports team and what not.

Hey Bro,
Thanks for not picking on me. Listen I'm not at liberty to say what the valv`e cap is. I don't want one of the GM hit squads to fly in on a black helecopter and snuff me out like a candle. If they found out that I had been giving out the kind of SUPER ZOMG-BBQ SECRET INFO (the kind that Google could find for you in 1.2 secs) like the Mole has tried to pretend to think about considering as a possibility to maybe somehow ty to give a little effort in attempting to perhaps give out, kinda, then I would be daed. DEAD!!

Ok, I see that your trying to protect your job, and I have to respect you for that. The economy is hard now and I would hate for you to lose your job over the information you have given us so far........

On a lighter note we (as a forum family) do appreciate the picture with you and somebody else with all the super awesome elite robots thats working on the Camaro. I noticed that the robot in the back is welding something on the roof? Could you go into detail as to what that perticular robot is doing? And what model robot is that? Thanks for advance!

Well, I'm not technically supposed to say anything but.. Oh Whathe Heck! Why not?

See, the specialized OPC Robotic welder in the back flies around the facility welding a special order unit onto the roof of specially ordered special order special orders. If a customer specifically specifies in his special order that he wants a specific special specimen, specifically special ordered then the OPC Unit welds it onto the roof.

It's designed to make the vehicle more aerodynamic and looks like this when finished. Remember this is a rendering of the look, as I haven't been able to smuggle out the actual photos because they are in a briefcase handcuffed to the CEO's wrist:

I work in the body shop and do Metal repair and trouble shooting for the different depts that requrie me to fix or repair any metal related issues. I drive GM products and do my best to sell our products to anyone who will listen. I believe most if not all who visit this site are well informed on the Camaro as of this date. However for those who are not , lets cut to the chase.

The Camaro is being built in Oshawa , Ont
The Camaro is now going into its 6th week of production
The Camaro comes in a varity of colours and trim lines
The Camaro also offers a V6 and V8 engine
The Camaro offers an auto and std transmission
The Camaro is being shipped to different dealers around N.America
The Camaro plant is a one shift operation (days only)
The Camaro is built to exect spec's and quality requirements.

Next do we as employees see everyones Cars as they come down the line ? Answer - Yes we do as we work on each one as it goes by our stations. Can we tell if its your Camaro ! Answer -No Your car only has numbers attached to it and your name is not assigned to any paper work on the car.

At the end of the line your car is driven off the line and sent to a shipping area for either truck or rail transport. All of us here are ambassadors for GM and for those of us here in Oshawa the Camaro and Impala are very important products and we give 120% to make sure you get the very best products for your hard earned money.

There is not much else i can say other then we do exist here in the plant and we can only give out certain information , i just want everyone to understand that and enjoy the wee bit of info that can be released. Its not rocket science to figure out that company info is not to be given out to the general public.

So in closing.. WE CANNOT RELEASE PRODUCT INFO ! And all of your Camaros look fantastic , the MOLE is a real person, i'm a real person , some Camaro5 members have met me . i only wish i could have one in my driveway. Thank You all for supporting GM and the Team Camaro you guys and gals are the greatest. Super60

Ya what he said!
