Absolutely!! I have more male friends then girls. Mostly cuz I get along better w guys. I like cars, fishing, etc & hate shopping, lol. My bf is totally fine w it. He knows all my male friends and gets along great w them. The first thing I tell my bf's is that I have a ton of male friends that I talk to and hang out w and if they r gonna have a prob w it, buh bye.

When I was single I had plenty of female friends that I was just friends with, and I wasn't there just to try and get in their pants. But had they offered it up or the situation arose, I would hit it without a second thought. In fact me and a friend did decide to date once, it was one of the worst mistakes in our lives. There were a few exceptions to the rule, like me and my old boss, we were the same age, she was cute, and we were friends and would hang all the time and have lunch together etc. But for some reason I just always considered her like a sister, and never in any way otherwise.

Now that I have a girlfriend and am in a long term relationship I find I tend to have the same female friends and always in the back of my mind I think "damn she would look good naked" but now because I love my girlfriend I'd never act on it.

Sorry you just can't change the way men are wired.

They can for a while but at some point or another something sexual will happen. Whether it's attraction on one side or the other, a drunken hookup, whatever. IT WILL HAPPEN. I have *tons* of male friends; much more male than female. Women like attention from men, and men are wired to want women. It's just the way it works. At some time or another I have been attracted to/been hit on by every male friend I have. It may be one sided, but it's there.

I say yes, maybe i'm part of the older crowd and maybe that makes a difference but I have several female friends in various social and business circles. And no I'm not gay and neither are they!

Now my deep tissue massage therapist is hot hot hot, but the pain she can inflict pretty much keeps me in line...lol

Our definition on crude words is way off and every situation is different ! For example I have had women tell me they couldn't just be fiends with me . If the wording I used offended you I apologize that was very PG for me .

They absolutely can be friends! I have had a best friend for almost 8 years now and we met when I was 22 and he was 20. We are both straight and have only been friends this whole time. He was in my wedding and is the godfather of my son. He still remains my best friend and I his. We are like bro and sis now though, but it's possible. Both just need to know boundaries if they want a long lasting friendship.
