Ok. Now I'm confused. I need to share this...

I have two identical ZL1 orders, each with a different dealer. Hate if ya want, I'll ignore it and tomorrow I'm canceling one. But here's the deal. I haven't been checking gmconnects today because I know both my orders went 2030 last week because of IBM. But for giggles I looked tonight. One of my cars shows a history of hitting 2030 TWICE! Once on the 7th and a second time on the 13th. Other car shows only the 7th. They have the same options. Only difference between them is I'm 1st allocation on one and 2nd allocation on the other (not something in the order, but what the dealer is telling me).

The dealer I'm 1st allocation with told me I need to pick my new color by tomorrow because my order will be matched to their 1st allocation tomorrow night. And that's the order that hit 2030 yesterday. I figured he's BSing me on it being matched to an allocation tomorrow night but maybe he knows something.

So for everyone that hit 2030 last night and not last week, are you being told by your dealer that you are allocation #1 on their list? My "uneducated guess" is we may be starting to move...

The ZL1 was initially ordered as Victory Red to start the order and waiting to change the color to Crystal Red as soon as it is available. CRT is still not on the quick order form but the order moved up to 2030 anyway.

Not that I know for sure but full pricing came up yesterday morning on Workbench, before it was pricing on the base ZL1 only. Workbench didn't show pricing on options. Now if pricing came up and got applied to the orders wouldn't that be considered a edit? Thus 2030 for the non IBM cars. IBM cars went to 2030 when it was droped last week. Just my thinking.

I believe this to be the culprit. Makes sense to me.

Victory Red Polished 5 spokes, low gloss stripes and insert.... No suede package.. 6 speed manual....
