BenningJ: the V6 motor issue surprises me - That motor is in a TON of GM cars and trucks. I will keep my fingers crossed for you guys.

To EVERYONE PUTTING MOTHBALLS UNDER YOUR CARS TO KEEP THE CRITTERS OUT: Remember to put something under the mothballs or they will melt into the concrete and be a mess to pick up come spring. They love moisture. Some aluminum foil, old glass saucers, or plastic tops off of old cool whip containers placed under those mothballs will make clean up a cinch - (This has been your garage tip from Martha Stewarts 8th cousin 100 times removed.)

Hey Martha not my garage I'm gonna be moving out of this apt after the new year but thanks for the tip and if plans get made for a bowling type get together I'm in ill have to drive gf car Ford Taurus station wagon woo hoo !

Sounds good. I am a terrible bowler so I am expecting to get last place. As far as mods...my plans keep getting backed up. But I would like to at least get a cat back exhaust system in the near future. I found an a place online that air brushes flames with a clear coat over the top to match your cars color. They have engine covers and fuse box covers. Would look really nice for the car shows when we open our hoods.

Mine will get a short drive today...45 says DRIVE ME. Just means I get to wash it again!

Edit: Drove to Millstream Brewery in Amana today - had a GUYS LUNCH consisting of Corn Nuts, landjager, beef jerky, and a BARLEY POP. Dad in his Grand Sport and I in the Camaro, chased each other up and down all sorts of back roads. Got them back to town and gave them both a bath. We sat in the garage and smoked a cigar and sipped a nice lager while admiring the shiny beasts.

Im down with the January get together. I also had to wake up my car from a winters nap today. It was nice to get on it and wash it. I'm going to put a different grille and the L.E.D. rear tail lights ( like Intimidat3r has)

Drive ours all year round. Went to Iowa City saturday night for company party.Had "Scarlet" all dressed up. Got a lot of good compliments. Driving back home on 380 north bound sometime after 10pm was passed by 5th gen camaro. Not sure who it was, waved but it was to dark to see. He or She turned off on 33rd ave sw. Nice to see we aren't the only ones still driving and glad to hear about everyone else getting theres out to enjoy this weather.

I recently updated photos. My profile photo loaded perfectly. My album loaded perfectly. When I try to add the picks to "my garage", it will not accept them. I'm not sure what I am doing wrong. My album can be seen by clicking on my profile photo, but, the pictures won't display for the garage link. Any help out there?

Alright just giving a check in here. This weekend I ticked over 34,000 miles and I have just over 6,000 miles on my latest oil change (will get an oil change when I get back to the Ames area) and they definitely have not been easy miles. As it stands after 6,080 miles I am only about a 1/4 of a quart low on oil. I think I don't have anything to worry about with me blowing my motor. I know there have been a lot of threads about it lately in the V6 section but I feel pretty confident my motor is running fine and staying strong. Merry Christmas everyone and hope to see you in January for a get together. Maybe I will have a few extra upgrades by then. We will see. Oh btw, I will be in Arkansas the weekend the 28th and 29th so lets chose a weekend other than that. haha. Later.
