.....back onto the topic of IBM....

Any word on when the last orders for an IBM SS can go in?

Reason I'm asking is the dealers around me don't want my SS trade in during the middle of winter - won't offer squat for it. So I'm trying to order as late as possible and shoot for an early spring delivery.

Is a mid-Jan IBM order going to be Ok?

Absolutely, if finances allow the plan is to trade for Camaro. But I might break from tradition (my 78' Camaro Type LT was ABM-like blue, 03' Impala was Superior blue, and 06' Impala was Glacier Blue Metallic (more silver than blue) and go for a VR or Crystal Red Camaro this time if no medium/lighter blue available.

I agree 100%!! The 4th gen Navy Blue Metallic was just awesome. I loved how the color popped in the sunlight or at night. It was my favorite of the 4th gen colors and I loved getting to drive my friends around.

IBM looked to dark and to blackish to me at night so wasnt a fan. But the NBM would pop a vibrant purple color at night.

This is the case with Aqua Blue, Synergy Green and Inferno Orange IMO

More so with the Blues though. GM did an awesome job on making them appear to be a different color by the way the light reflects off it.

Lol its my Dad's car actually, but the minute I drove it I fell in love with it. Definitely keeping my mind open for a used ABM or SGM or if another color comes along..

I just bought mine 2012 Imperial Blue LT (3.6L 323-hp V6 engine)....of course it was the only one on the lot. I love it!

Attached a couple Photos (overcast). Untouched & brand new. Only had 1.3 miles on it.

i liked Synergy Green better than IBM so i'm happy it's gone, i wish they'd come out with hugger orange!!!

I'm sad to see it go.... I was going to win the lottery and keep my V6 IBM and order a ZL1 IBM....my plans have been foiled.
