In a perfect world this and exchange those flowmasters for an ARK DT-S catback. Buuuut you already got whatchu got so the insulator and upcoming ported intake manifold ought to be on your list. Insulator is cheap and the IM should be reasonable. Hopefully less than most catbacks. Oh and a VMAX Ported throttle body. Very good mod.

Maniature – It sounds like you’ve got a lot of the bases covered. You mentioned in your list that you have Flowmaster Super 44s, so it must be a custom system. Installing a complete Cat-Back will get rid of the stock crossover and replace it with a better performing Scavenger X-Pipe and also eliminate the resonators.

Good luck on your quest!

That's cool. Glad to hear it.

And I couldn't be happier with how my fully mirror polished 304 SS cat back with 4.5" burnt tips sound. Ppl when they see those.

not to offend you but i think burnt tips are more for imports..but thats just me...but hey everyone like their sandwiches different!

only reason i might like...is bigger piping. i was thinking of doing SS piping and the MRT axle back and resonator delete

The other reason you might like...is that it flat out sounds amazing and no drone. Conversely, MRT tips are one of the main reasons I never considered MRT.

You're not offending me but we might be offending the OP for this massive thread jack LOL.
I love my tips and the WTF? reaction I get with them is sheer permagrin and you can order them un-burnt if you like-you gotta love options.

You'll definitely get a deeper sound with the 2.5" piping so go for it.
