I have a sig sauer p229 9mm with personal defense rounds when i need to defend myself for life or death situation. But am glad one can carry openly here in va

All you guys with your guns scare me i'm going with the other guy from b.c and am carrying nothing. Hoping you guys all have the right permits to be carrying

In FL there is NO permit/license to own a gun and/or carry it in your car. Anyone who is not a felon can own a gun, the only thing they cannot do is carry it concealed (on them) for that you need a license. I am not a felon, have a license and can and will carry everywhere I go that allows me to. In fact I am in the process of getting a concealed license from another State, this will give my carry right in an additional 3 States.

To my knowledge, this is also highly illegal. I'd be cautious of what you put in writing. The way it was explained to me when I got my CCP was that you may only have a CCP from your state of legal residence. Since you can only be a legal resident of one state at a time... having two is illegal. Would hate to see you land in any trouble!

Because I just moved here to FL, I only have my LCP that I carry in my pocket. Once I make my trip back to NC I'll bring my S&W M&P 9mmC down also. That's my main carry. I want to trade my LCP for a body guard though. So much nicer.

Sorry but your are wrong. You can have a non-resident permit from many other states as well!
I currently live in Texas and keep my Fla permit under non-resident status because more states have repricioty with Fla. This allows me to carry in more states, legally.
