You know, it kinda bugs me how poeple rip you when you post something that was already talked about. It usually is from those who are on here about 14 or more hours out of every day and have something to say on EVERY post. I get on here way too much (according to my wife) but I don't read EVERY post. Believe it or not, I have found information from a post where one of the frequent reader/posters complained that the info was already posted and put one of their favorite smileys about how dumb the post is. The fact is, there is lots of redundant info and there will continue to be. IMO, this information is so important it needed to be said again. I said in the beginning that this is a repost so when you put on here it has already been posted, well that's kinda the same redundancy isn't it? RELAX already.

No.... They can drop if you make an order change to your car. AGAIN, CHECK YOUR ORDER AFTER ANY AND ALL CHANGES!

This is just one more reason that people need to be definitive about what they want before they visit the dealer. When going to the dealer, bring a piece of paper with every option and code that you want. Anything that you can add later will be available later, but make sure that the car is right the first time.

Yap, this just happened to me, I talked to my dealer and had him change my order and told him to make sure the RS package stayed on. It was dropped and had to be re-added on. This thread is worthwhile and the more people that know about this the better or there are going to be some really upset people when they get their cars and the RS package is not on it.

Yep. Also happened to me too. Coincidentally, I stopped by the delaership and they printed out a copy of the order for me and the RS option was gone. I stood there while they added it back in. I now have a copy of the order with the RS option on it. This occurred in late October last year.

My dealer told me tonight that any dealer making a change should be re-checking the order as an S.O.P. (Standard Operational Procedure). Anything that gets left off your order is the dealers fault for being lazzzzzzyyy and/or stupid!

I am still working or gettting it back on. My saleman just toled me today that my order has been pulled. This would be great news if I was sure that the RS was on the order.

Why didn't he give you a printout or show you on screen what is on the order??

Don't worry about it. This is a very important problem that is occurring and I don't think we can talk about it enough. Great Thread!!!

thanks for telling me i went ahead and called my delaer because i had changed from auto to manual, mine hadnt been dropped luckily because my order had already been pulled

OMG... back in Febraury the dealer changed my order to remove the hurst shifter.. ugh.. dont know about the RS thing.. and it'll be to late now...
I guess I will call tomorrow... I do know that he said the pre-order code was off all his orders and he had to re-enter ... ugh...

I changed mine having the YF5 cali emissions dropped. "my dealer always adds that since its a neighboring state" then on Tuesday morning he sent me the PDF, it was missing the RS package,polished wheels and cover!! I caught it and he fixed it but wow waiting 133 days with the same order and then at go time that happens...
