"Im will be 18", Let me correct you on that one "I will be 18" or "I'll be 18". I'm just joking with you kid. Congrats on being able to afford one of these beasts at such a young age. Just remember the basics like never ever drinking and driving and don't race on the streets ever.. You'll never forgive yourself if you get someone killed for racing or simply driving intoxicated. we all get that urge however peer pressure at your age has a larger pull on you than it does as you become wiser.. just be careful as I am only saying these things to re-inforce what you already know to be common sense truths. Peace

20. 2SS loaded out to 38.4k. Selling my 2008 BMW 328i coupe with less than 6000 miles on it. Got it for 29k used with 900 miles on it, and I can probably sell it without losing any money.

2 cents from a parent

OMG, I was in a really good mood today before reading some of these threads. After reading from front to end I now have a headache. I can't help but feel that some may be fibbing a little. But that's just me. Congrats to everyone getting this car no matter how they come by it just please be careful. Oh and especially congrats to those of you who are engineers at 18 and 19 that's amazing. Took my husband seven years to get his Masters in Computer Engineering with a 3.7 GPA but hey. Military paid for his college Took me 4 years to get my Bachelor's in Nursing and still in college. Were both 29 have 2SS/RS IOM on order. Yeah we can pay for it and don't have to worry about food.

On another note my niece who is 20 is in college working on the same as me and her dad, Certified Nurse of Anesthesia. Her dad has a 2SS/RS CGM with black stripes ordered for her Augest 8 birthday (ordered in Oct) and she doesn't know it. Does she deserve it? Yes, is she spoiled? very, very, very. But she is the most respectful person I know, will do anything for anybody and drives very good. He will pay for this car and insurance while she is in college. He bought her a new WV when she first started driving and she has taken very good care of the car and has been very responsible. I as a parent respect my brother for this and when it comes time for my son to drive(he's only 6 now) we will start him off on something else (loves older cars) and let him prove his self. If he is not a stupid driver then he will get something very nice like this car while attending college. If he is not responsible he will drive a POS and pay for his own insurance. Sorry for the long thread guys, but my headache is gone.

I would love to hear from some of the other parents.

Wow I don't even need to comment on how dumb that statement of yours is but I'll do it anyway. You "practice" drifting in parking lots? That just shows your level of intelligence right there. How about you do what us responsible drivers do and go take an advanced driving course so if you end up either killing someone or wrapping your car around a tree you can honestly say to the police "the car got away from me". Rofl I need to grow a pair? I'll make sure and laugh when I see a "I WRECKED MY CAMARO TRYING TO BE LIKE THE AZNS IN TOKYO DRIFT!!!!" thread from you.
