Dealership Finally Called - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

My dealership that I complained about 2 weeks ago finally is able to place my order. I'm going up there early in the AM to place it. 2012 Ashen Grey ZL1 here I come.

I gave up on the dealer that I was working with. I called twice, once leaving a voice msg on his system another time talking with the adjacent salesman. On the second call I told them if I didn't hear back I would walk. This is a dealership that services my GTO and my Olds.
In desperation I contacted Chevy. The last that I heard they were contacting the dealer on my behalf. Well guess what? Chevy has not called me back. And we wonder why GM needed a bailoutJ
Anyway on Saturday I placed an order at another dealership. They gladly placed an order and took my deposit.

Congratulations. My dealer in TN told me the same thing last week, so I went in at lunch time today to place the order . Said the order would be pulled on Thursday and that others wouldn't get their car any quicker even though they'd been in the system for a while.

Did they have a spot open from their allocation estimate that was provided by GM in late October?
