Bumblebee (TF3) Exhaust System

I am 99% sure that "ear candy" we hear in the movies is NOT the genuine article. However, I would like to know which exhaust system would get me the closest to it. I know a lot of it depends on the engine itself, but do you think that sound is do-able with the Camaro engine? Flow master has a nice bolt-on package, but it still doesn't sound deep enough to me.

Runawayhacker – 99% of the sounds in movies with big budget movies like TF3are not what was actually recorded on location. Foley and special effects are used to generate sounds…including the simplest sounds of feet walking on the ground and clothes rustling. The actors go to the recording studio and also re-record their voices.

It would be interesting to know where the exhaust was recorded from though.

Knowing Hollywood, the sound probably didn’t even come from an LS engine.

Thanks for the mention of the Flowmaster American Thunder kit. We went to great lengths to get that sound with specifically designed and built Flowmasters for that kit.
