I do know that the local dealership has offered to buy my car for what I paid for it because they said they can sell blue easily because people keep asking them for it

It makes no sense to me, Scott...none at all.
As we work other cars into the line, we have to ensure they've got a color pallette as well....

I think the problem is that people see us as "dropping" a color - never to replace it with something else.

Synergy Green was a limited run.

We've never said we won't do more limited runs........

this is a friend of Scott Settlemire.

He just walked into the back yard and said something about stabbing himself in the eye with something rusty - and then drinking drano........

Please - -for the love of all that's good and kind...........there are at least -- AT LEAST -- 50 threads on bright blues.....and how the color does not sell......

Now - let me go see if I can find Scott before he tries to end it all by going for a ride on a kangaroo....................

Just ask anyone who has ABM about all the positive comments they've gotten. Too bad Camaro paint options are so hamstrung by the other car lines sharing the same paint line....Seems like it might be high time for GM to add another paint line or two in Oshawa.
Positive comments in and of themselves do not mean anything.

I recall that I just in the past week adressed someone who was mad as heck that we'd dropped ABM, SGM, and IBM - ............yet the person ordered orange!

Bring me the data that Bright Blue sells on enthusiast cars. (...and for the record, we monitor all color penetrations for just about every car and truck built today...)

I would love to know how many IBMs have been sold. With all the paint issues and minerals from Japan, it was on hold for months and months. I'm sure that affected sales numbers and obviously gave IBM a lower percentage than other colors. I know it took me Weeks to find mine in July 2011. There were two within 500 miles of me new on the lots and one was a 2SS/RS that I didn't want or need. I've spoken to three people in the last week who wanted IBM badly but didn't know it existed or couldnt get it so they got RJT or SIM. Scott is there ever a rundown of these numbers? How many total sold of each color? Could we possibly see it? If not I totally understand. I just would love to see that and see when IBM sales slumped and how many were made...

And thank you for being here, being patient, sharing what you can and being a bigger person than the patronizers I've heard mouthing.

Maybe we'll see Gold Mist Metallic or Twilight Blue Metallic as an option now?

There is a member here in the forums who can find this information I forget his name now, but he found out there are only ~3,600 Aqua Blues built.

According to "The 1967-2011 Camaro White Book", there were 3,903 ABM cars built and 7,210 IBM cars built in the 2010 model year.

There are no IBM totals for the 2011 model year as this book was released during the 2011 model run.

If anyone remembers when GM first launched the 2010 Camaro, there was no blue available for the SS model.

There was a petition on the Camaro5 forum to add IBM and GM heard our voices and added the color to the SS model.

On the brighter side, at least we all had the opportunity to order and purchase IBM or ABM.

And I'm glad I have my IBM 2SS 2010 (Litho #80).

Thanks Mike and best wishes to you and your family for the New Year.
