Nope. I know this for a fact because everytime we inquire about its availability, we get the "it will be out soon". And soon hasn't come yet and we have been waiting since March 2011.

I wanted to include the year in this thread in case we need to reference it in 2013 or 2014 when "soon" arrives.

The story now is that "the software on the 2012 is different than the previous radios, so chime warnings and a few other things don't work with 2012's." So, who knows HOW long that will take to resolve (read as: how long till they come up with another plausible sounding delay.)

Bums me that I helped get people excited, and have people waiting for them.

Why can't they simply release the kit for the 2010 and 2011 and release the 2012 when they get it finished? It's not like we don't know what year our cars are.

Besides the fact that IMO pioneers interface deficates on alpines, these continuous bs release dates only make me happier that I chose to go with pio and not alpine! This to me causes some loss of respect for their company! It's just ridiculous.

Well, in this case, Alpine isn't making the dash kit. Scosche is. Alpine is just reworking the plastics to look a little different and rebranding it.

You had respect for alpine? Their good stuff went out in the 80's.

Actually scosche is using the Alpine protocol it their kit and that's why neither kit has made it to market yet. According to both companies, neither will release the kit until its 100% so no recalls have to take place.

So If they change the data bus stuff for the 2013 model they will have to do the same thing?
