If some idiot liberal yuppie in an Audi pulls in front of me while I'm doing 45 mph, I'd MUCH rather be in my truck when I t-bone him. My feet are more than 2 1/2 feet above the ground in my truck - whereas they are just inches above the ground in my Camaro.

I'd hafta disagree with you on that one in every way.

What the hell does driving a Camaro in the snow have to do with Obama? I stopped reading there.

The first statement seemed to be somewhat blindly fanatical. I can think of many reasons to drive another car besides my Camaro...say for instance when I need to haul a couple sheets of 8-foot sheetrock, or drive my 182lb English Mastif to the doggie park, or (in the context of this conversation) when there's 24" of snow on the ground. To say that a rear drive, high-horsepower Camaro is as equally safe as a 4x4 pickup truck in the snow seems either mis-guided or blindly fanatical - the same way that Obama supporters will continue to support Obama and consider him a good President DESPITE all evidence pointing to the fact that he's a Socialist (nowadays called "Progressive"), and despite any and all logical arguments to the contrary. It's the same level and kind of illogical, blind support.

I LOVE my Camaro - just not in 24" of snow regardless of what kind of studded or snow tires I could put on it. But then of course, us folks that live all the way out here in "BFE" don't know a thing compared to the wise folks out on the east coast.

It's good to see somebody helping out the local economy and supporting their home-town tow truck drivers by generating road-side ditch rescues. More power to you. Meanwhile, I'll keep MINE in the garage til May.
I will be more than happy to submit this form ( in your honor) next time I see another rear-wheel-drive-with-snow-tire-hero upside down in a field next to the road.

See Kirk he's going to get to know me now!
Sam I live in Longmont.Jersey was 18 yrs ago. I know darn well there are other reasons for driving something other than a Camaro.I'll speak for my self however Chris and I like to give others sh** when it comes to people putting their Camaro's away come bad weather.I personally don't have a choice,my other car is my wife's Mini Cooper. What I mean by BFE is the far from the city guys or mountain ones. Not that I live back East and I'm mocking western states.
My statement about not making a difference if I'm in a Camaro or pick up wasn't presented correct. What I should have said was It doesn't make a difference what your driving if there idiots on the road. What I'm driving isn't going to change the fact THAT I will get hit.Now what happens after I'm hit DOES make a difference when it comes to the Camaro vs Pickup.I just wasn't going to get into all the math and physics yada Ada....
I wouldn't take many of these post to seriously.Stuff just thrown out there, not meaning much.Of course if you feel personally attacked then by all means get serious, but I'm not sure I've taken many post that far(Although there was this one guy....)
Lastly I don't ever talk about Politics,Religion or family members.Fastest way to really piss people off.
Have a great day!

Never been in a ditch, It is usually those asinine large vehicle drivers that think they can go through anything or drive anyway they want that I see.Not saying your one of them but I see far more of those than of rear wheel, understanding the road condition drivers sitting waiting for the wrecker.

And please come on 24"-36" I'm not talking about those snow amounts. That hits I'm not going anywhere. But I'm betting you it's not tucked away with a blanket and heater next to it keeping it warm and cozy either.

Sorry Kirk didn't mean to single you out....

Sorry...I try not to be one of those. Generally I was going to put the crazy snow-tire-Camaro guys in the same class as all the crazies that think 4-wheel drive is the solution for driving on ice. It doesn't work that way.
I never take anything that's on the internet too seriously. I enjoy a good verbal back and forth jabbing. It's all fun and games until someone loses an eye...or gets banned again by a moderator. lol

Believe me it doesn't take losing an eye to get banned. You only have to call them on their BS and your gone. For some reason they seem to think once they ban you you can't come back.

And nothing works on ice. Good WITH ice but not on it!
