Ben, You will likely need an alignment after removing the rear cradle. Even if its not "required", i'd get one. I took mine to my buddu who builds SCCA preped Corvettes and he did the alignment. Its not a computer alignment, its a custom. He asked me what I want the car to do. I told him spirited driving but dont want to replace tires every 10,000 miles. He gave a moderately agressive setup. I did a burnout in front of my driveway and you can tell there is some negative camber but it does not chew up the tires and it really sticks to the road.

As far as subframe connectors... I am not sold on those at all. 1st get thru 4th gen 100% required as they are very weak. I know the chassis on the 5th gen is very strong. If you jack up one corner, it will lift 3. there is nearly zero flex in the chassis of this car.

With the alum. shaft, i hear to remove the heat shields for clearance. Not verified something to consider. My buddy, JD... he was at the cruise... ABM car with the Whipple... he just got the carbon shaft and new 1400 hp axels. We are installing then after the first of the year. I will let you know how it goes.

Your list is about like mine... well the stuff I havent done yet. I am likely going with the JRE/LPE 3.91 set up (miss my 4.10s ), new driveshaft and a nice cam. I am hoping to get the cam in next winter. New baby this year put a hold on it... The rear end and shaft... who knows, maybe the follwoing year.

Best of luck... keep me posted.

Won't be the first time. My older brother & I actually did get coal one Christmas when I was about 7 or 8. Didn't seem to help much.

Ben,
+1 on what J said. You'll need an alignment after all that. You are so going to love what those subframe bushings will do for you!

I know where there is a very nice used Borla exhaust... might as well put one in while your exhaust is out anyway.

I like that idea, might have to uncover the car today and take it for a spin. If I can't have a white Christmas I can at least have a loud one! I'll have four hours to burn once the bird goes in the oven.

Mike, Merry Christmas to you and Patty. Crazy weather huh?! I debated pulling off the cover but probably won't.

That lard ass Santa passed our house up but he usually shows a week late when my parents come down for my birthday next weekend. I get two christmas celebrations!!!

Oh and that tree... Lol, we had a Christmas fail last year. Got the tree all decorated and it crashed down. so we didn't really have a tree last year.

Well we never got around to getting a new one and kris is allergic to pine so real is not an option.

So my mom gave us this prelit tree with C7 bulbs. (the big ones). Half were out so I stripped off all the lights and put 9 - 100 light strands of twinkle lights.

So that tree has 900 lights on it! She wanted LOTS of lights. It had 500, not enough so I got 4 more packages. It's crazy light! I love it!

Luckily they make some nice fake ones these days. My mom is severely allergic to pine so we haven't had a real tree since I was very young. I imagine it would bother me too since I'm built just the same as old ma.

Oh and thanks for not telling Santa to give me coal.

And... go Bengals.
