Has anyone had a problem with the 2011 automatic transmission after installing headers and exhaust and a tune. Im having a problem with my car, seems like it don't want to go into gear. Motor sounds like if its on neutral and then when it shifts it shifts with a kick to it.

Have your tuner check the tranny tune.

as stated... contact your tuner, hopefully you didn't do it without advice from guys like Phil or Ted.

Never had a problem with mine. I have a auto trans on v6 with BBK Longtubes, K&N, and exhaust

My first email tune really didn't work well with the tranny. The shifts in the D mode were really long and very soft and the S mode shifts weren't tight enough either. I went back to the tuner and he fixed them up after a little datalogging. I love the way my car shifts now....

Thanks for the response, I called the shop and they told me is not the tune, they said there having the same problem with another 011 camaro. So he said they are trying to figure what the problem could be. He says it might be something with the 2011 camaros.

That shop has no idea what they are doing. A bad transmission tune could damage your transmission.

Run from that shop. It is the tune. The tranny worked fine. They tuned it. Now it doesn't. Contact Ted or one of the others here. Their problem is they don't know what they are doing.

You are right. Basic troubleshooting is when something works and then you make a change and it doesn't work any more, what you just did most likely caused the problem.

Sounds like you are going to ruin the trans if you leave it as is.

Reload the previous tune or buy another tune from a reputable shop.

Consider an email tune. I have had great results with a custom email tuner.

So it was fine before the tune, and now you're having problems with it....and it's not their tune that's causing it? That certainly doesn't sound right to me.

Trans needs tuning. or the tune is off. have someone check it out like texas speed.
