This site is just awesome! Thanks for the email updates!
They gotta do something with that horn and steering wheel, why can't they make it more like the CTS-V/Corvette or something (with steering wheel controls), BTW what size radio will fit? It looks like a new spec or something...I don't want to use spacers...lol!

Has anyone noticed that in the last pic that it's a Black car with White triangles, instead of a White car with the Black triangles? I haven't seen one painted like this yet.

WOW you guys are quick on the trigger. i got off this sight last night right before these pics went up and now its 6 am and there are already 5 pages of posts. all of you have already said and commented on everything that i would have. I just spent 15 minutes looking at the pics just to have something new to post.......ive got a few comments. why use the caddy engine cover? either the camaro engine cover is not completed or they are hiding something. the steering wheel leather looks kinda loose like it was just wrapped around just cuz. makes it look cheap. and speaking of steering wheel, i have a feeling that the steering wheel will change. i have not seen not one steering wheel in the past say 5 years without mounted controls such as radio and crusie control. wheres the cruise control button? one last thing, notice in pics 13 and 14 the images outside the winshied are blurred and swirled like they are photoshopped as is to hide other vehicles. what are you guys hiding huh? lol I LOVE IT GM ......keep up the good work!!!!!!

[QUOTE=TAG UR IT;42333] That center airbag homelink (whatever the heck it is), is going to need to be smaller....or simply built in better. I don't want some big box hanging down from my roof. Sorry, don't want to offend anyone, but it does look rather large and out of place there.
Hey TAG they are bringing back the 8 track tape. lol |

wow... 5 pages of almost exclusive love for the interior... how great is that?
![]() and I'm with Dragoneye... told ya that was the V6 :neener: since it hasn't all been covered on this page yet, let me address a few things: that center portion above the central rear view mirror is definitely a piece out of the Tahoe... and it says "PASSENGER AIR BAG" on it... there should be a small area to the right of that where the "ON" or "OFF" will light up... that's why the writing is so far over to the left hand side central door lock button is fine with me... just means I have to lean in and smell the new car smell to be able to unlock the passenger door from the driver's side ![]() that button on the door is definitely the "trunk release" button... but we all knew that ![]() I love the AC controls... after looking at all of the buttons, I feel like I could use it pretty well without even having to read the manual... and that's a good thing, because most people dont read the manual... so self explanitory is good it is very likely that the V8 will have the same speedo... its not a "how fast can this car go" thing... its a "how much faster than the speed limit are you going?" thing... and if you're doing 120mph, you're in violation of every speed limit in almost every place that this car will be sold... so please dont be surprised if the V8 speedo is the same as this one... as someone else said, if you dont like the red on there, you will most likely be able to but an aftermarket overlay to replace it... and if its like the 4th gen, it will not be too hard to do that shroud is defnitely from the CTS V6... and, to the best of my knowledge, there is no other engine that it will fit on without some serious modification work being done... notice that the oil filler cap pokes through in just the right spot on the driver's side? that would be hard to duplicate without that engine being underneath it... unless we are getting another variation of that engine as the V6 ![]() those are still the unfinished headlights... go to your local Auto Zone and you can find them sitting on the shelves in the "off road accessories" area... lol the battery is probably in the trunk... and that's fine with me... because when you're changing a battery, wouldn't it be nice to have the battery all nice and clean and easy to reach? instead of under the hood where dirt, dust, oil and antifreeze get all over it... better weight distribution is just a bonus all in all, its a very good interpretation of the Concepts interior... the fantasy stuff went away and some new stuff was brought in to fill the gaps... I really do hope that the information screen between the gauges has a compass and outside temp gauge built into it... I notice that those are not on the rear view mirror, so I'm hoping that they are on the information screen... I want the actual compass like the ones that are on the Concept 'vert ![]() excellent work, GM! I do believe you're going to have a hit on your hands

If the V6 takes up that much engine space, well...do you guys think that the V8 will be crammed in there just like the 4th gen Camaros? I actually want to be able to work on any part of my engine (including spark plugs), with no trouble what so ever. Oh, by the way, AWESOME pics. I hope GM gets rid of the tq guage and puts a miles/gallon or an oil condition guage in its place.

I would never say that GM would make it easy to replace spark plugs because I've worked on LT1 and LS1 4th gens, but I can promise you that the V8 will fit in there... that shroud covers ALOT more of the engine bay than the actual engine takes up... it is, in fact, designed to cover most of the engine bay to give it a full, well fit look instead of the way the LS1 looked in the engine bay of the 4th gens... where it was all uncovered and you wondered why they didn't put something over it to cover up the coil packs, AIR system and other misc. BS. if you look at the engine cover, you'll see that you cannot see the throttle body, or even where the air intake fits up against the throttle body, so there's alot of the engine bay covered by the engine shroud. Keep The Faith, folks... we're getting what we want... one spy photo at a time

The more I look at this interior, the more it grows on me. I really really like it and can't wait to see the final product (esp with a V8 upgrade package with more chrome and a concept-esque shifter). I am more and more impressed.

It is NOT illegal in Virginia to have remote start on your vehicle. It IS however not advised to leave your car running outside to warm up while you're inside. If a car is left running unattended for more than a few minutes the police can give you a ticket. This is due to the amount of cars stolen in the winter when people do this. I would like to add that the majority of those stolen are in D.C. or Maryland, not Virginia.
