This is why you should always research the shop and not go simply by who gives you best price.
The auto tranny on the L99 is very tricky because of all the crap these L99 have. If you aren't familiar with it you could really screw something up. Give Ted at Jannetty Racing a call ASAP. One of the best. |

Reputable shop or not it seems like they don't know what they are doing when it comes to the A6. I would take it to someone like ARD or LMR to have it tuned correctly. Or, talk with Jannetty and get his tune. Even if it's $400 out of your pocket that's a hell of alot cheaper than the cost to fix your trans.
You can go back later and work on getting some or all of your money back. Right now I would focus on what's best for your car and personally I wouldn't want to be the car they are learning on.

Get a better tuner like everyone else has said. Just like tuning a cam a good tuner can make an all out cam run great but a bad tuner can make a stage 1cam run terrible. Check out east coast supercharging they have been tuning the a6 since it first came out in the corvette.
