Thanks KK2010SS!

I'm still not seeing see my #2180. I wonder if it will come on rail to Pottersburg, OH like two that are on your spreadsheet. Looking at a map, it looks like they would almost be dropped off at the Honda plant near Marysville, OH. From there it would just be 60 miles to my dealer.

I don't know if they'd drop them at a Honda plant.
GM uses Lordstown a lot.
How close are you to Lordstown?

Dealer is 240 miles from Lordstown. I was looking at satellite maps of Pottersburg, OH and the only railyard I found was at the Marysville Honda plant.

Heinz,
When I ordered my Colorado, it was built in Shreveport, LA and it was dropped in Lordstown. A truck brought it from Lordstown to Syracuse, a 328 mile trip.
I would have thought it would have gone to Selkirk, NY (near Albany). That trip is just about 140-150 miles from Syracuse.

It might depend on what rail company is handling it. Each company has it's own distribution centers.

See my stickied post about railyard distribution centers.

I am updating it everyday. There is not much reason to update it more than once a day because I have to wait until the railcars are billed everyday.

I think I read that a railcar can hold about 20 cars.
Some of them have 3 levels.

It's been awhile, but I think the dealer has to call the DBC and have THEM mark it as "hot".
I also think the car has to be off-loaded and parked in a parking spot, or bay, as they like to call it.

But, so far, so good!
