At the risk of riling the Gods, there has been much speculation and wishful thinking about the possibility of a "for real", Dealer-available version of the SEMA COPO Camaro.

Please consider the following questions:

What should it's "Basic Package" be?

1) 1SS
2) 2SS

What should it be powered by?

3) LS7 (+ $15K, warranteed)
4)LSA/LS9 (+ $25K, warranteed)

Transmission?

5) Stick
6) Automatic

Dovetail Spoiler/carbon fibre Hood as part of the "Package" which, for obvious reasons, will NOT be called "COPO"...

yeah...I would love a BLACK if they painted the hood to match the rest of the car.

Hi i wood like that, I think that $15,000 is to high.
LS3=$6400 LS7=14,000 LSX454=12,000
So you see That $8500 is about right for the too big CI engines and the lsx454 has the same HP as the ls9.

There's not much of a business case for someone in Ontario to build something like that. Stephano Bimbi is offering a Nickey Camaro package with up to 700+ HP. He has sold 16 already. When you combine his package with other folks like Tom Henry and Fesler-Moss, there's not much market left.

The Z28 is designed and built, but it is not coming out, theres plenty of interest. If they don't build a car thats already designed etc, they DEFINITELY are not designing another. No need to re-invent the wheel.

Now if you are asking about building an aftermarket version (like the Nickey or Tom Henry) then have at it, always nice to see more. Its not a COPO that term should be dropped in relation to this car.
