Someone did a photoshop of that awhile back. I didn't really care for it, and with the lower front end I know that paint won't last long.

How hard is it going to be for me to install the ZL1 front fascia myself?? I really don't want to pay someone to put it one. Cars these days are about like legos and since this is actual GM product it should line right up with no problems. I will of course have it professionally painted. My tech skills are pretty good. I do all my own work to my motorcycle and have no problem putting all the fairings back on the right way every time I do work to it.

Its just bolts, you can do it If you were closer I'd be more than happy you give you a hand with it. Lots of good write ups and videos on removing the front facia.

I just watched the video in the DIY section (great video btw to the member that did it) and that looks pretty simple. I've done all my work to my car so far and this shouldn't be a problem. Just gotta make sure my painter get the paint right so it matches my car.

Any good painter should be able to paint match. Drop off your both the bumper and your Camaro so they can paint match it perfectly, my stock bumper didn't quite match from the factory.

Dont wast your time buying a new switch there is a lot more involved, it has more to do with the BCM then a switch.

What if I was to conceal a regular auxilary switch behind the OEM switch. So I push in the stock GM switch which in turn physically pushes an auxilary switch that's mounted behind it and activates the fogs? Is there room behind the dash for something like that?

I paid $150 to get mine painted. I've been away from my camaro, and I haven't ordered the lower support yet.

Have you opened one up before? its all electrical in side there is no room for mechanical switch, The electrical switch sends a signal to the BCM to turn on the power, that is how it works, All the wires are the same if you have a camaro, So i need to test if at all times it sending a signal for the HID in my case and if so how to make a harness that i can make work.
