I don't like having switches shown in my interior unless it is factory. Even if this is what will be needed for the fog lights I will have it under my dash hidden.

If you are wanting to have brake coolers they will be needed. But if you don't then use what you have currently.
I'm going this far putting the ZL1 bumper on and other parts needed, might as well do the other little stuff. More cool air to your engine is always a good thing! I will be supercharged soon this will be my set up.

I wouldn't want to have to reach for a hidden switch just to turn on m fogs.

Here's one I found: http://www.jshmotors.com/jdm-dc2-int...witch_p304.php

Just disregard all the other rice stuff on there

I wouldn't have it completely hidden just mount it at the bottom of the knee bolster near the hood release. Arms reach.

You can probably find a GM one where it is not so long in the back like the Honda one shown.

That could work, I hope the LEDs are the same color as the rest of the dash illumination.

I orignally wanted to use the top DRL hole for a driving light (something bright with a long distance and narrow beam patter) for some night canyon driving so I looked into some dual fog / driving light switches...

That one looks pretty good. Could it be mounted where the HUD controls go if you don't have HUD?

And does anybody have an answer for this one? This is concerning the retainer that holds the DRL into the ZL1 fascia. I saw the diagram, just want to make sure I order the right part..... and where can I order the part??
