Count me in for the bowling, plus one. If it snows or I go back to work I can always bail. I managed to get a 210 mile cruise in for New Years :

Need to tap into the 3rd brake light wiring. Anyone know the easiest place to do that?

Passenger side, put the seat down and simply pull the panel below the side window away. No tools needed, simple pressure clips. In the rear towards the trunk there is a connector. It slightly high and unseen until you pull it down. It is connected to the body by a pressure clip. PM me and I'll give you my phone number if nessecary, good luck

Is the third Brake light actual voltage??? The dome light is a sense wire that requires a certain voltage (other than 12) to turn on/off.. I think it looks for 5Volts (+) signal to turn it on.

Not really looking for 12v. Have a lighted Bowtie for rear that is dual circuit(used as brake light too). So I just need to tap into brake light. Didn't want to use back lights because I wanted to avoid it flashing with directionals

Was wondering what you all think about all these people talking about converting their front ends to look like the ZL1??? There is an 18 page thread on it already showing parts and part #'s even before the actual car is out...

If they are trying to pretend they have a ZL1 or want to rebadge it as a ZL1 then I don't like it. If they really want a ZL1 they should buy one.

Having said that, if they just like the look better and want parts of a ZL1 nose for that reason I don't care.
