Note: this video is with stock mufflers welded into 3" exhaust. If I had to do it again I would not do this. And those wires are from the cutouts which were installed later that day.

The LG G6X3 cam is a great option. We can offer this to you as a package deal that would include:
Comp 921 Dual Valve Springs
Hardened Push Rods
Titanium Retainers
Seats, Seals and Heavy Duty Timing Chain

I think with your current setup and adding the G6X3 cam you would be close to 500rwhp. We did a car similar to this last week and the customer was over 480rwhp. Most cars have an average gain around 70rwhp after the cam install.

As far as suspension I would recommend going with trailing arms for sure to prevent wheel hop. LG Motorsports recently came out with a Rear Chassis Connector and Strut Tower Base. This will make sure your subframe are rear differential are firmly held in place while driving the car and the strut tower brace ensures your front strut towers are held in place and keeps them in the proper location with minimum flex.

We can get you a good deal on these upgrades. PM me.

Here's a clip of what you can expect sound wise.

We've had great success with our feedback on the G6 Series cams as well.

Lotsa good video and we've had em on special for sometime now on our thread:

Let us know if you have any specific questions on them!

Enjoy,

Jannetty has a sweet 470 rwhp Cam.

If all you want is 470 rwhp you don't have to do anything to your heads except maybe springs.

If your going to rebuild the head anyway Titanium is the way to go. LS7 lifters, dual springs, Titanium seats and guides and the LS9 Titanium valves are a direct replacement to the LS3 valves. You can get more RPM's with Titanium. Lingenfelter sells complete LS9 heads that bolt up to an LS3 block. I don't know if they lower the compression, that is something I'm checking out now. Don't forget to get a high volume oil pump you will need it.

U wanna change springs with a mild cam change. The new cam will be rougher on the springs so you should upgrade your springs as well. I have sound clips of my mast motorsports cam which will make more that 470 rwhp on a dyno jet with the right tune

The only thing you will need to add it Oil and filter.

Ted.
