Couldn't have said it better myself.

I'll try to get better pics tomorrow, and then I guess everyone could offer a different opinion or stick with their original one. We'll see if I should in fact ask for a "new" pair.

I paid $40 for mine from jdmtoy.com. They are not as nice as those but I don't care. Nobody is going to kneel in front of my car to look at the "nice" fog light bulbs.

It really is best to ask the vendor about these things. That way you can get it settled properly without giving them a bad reputation. (I know that's not your intent here, but it can have that effect nonetheless.)

I suggest you contact AAC and give them a chance to make sure you have a product that you are totally happy with. I'm sure they will.
