Doing that. I'm reset/reset/preset in the scanner when I fire up the loaded tune as well. That was recommended to me in both HPTuners forums and the G8 forums.

Agreed. Even with the resets and presets, it needs a good bit of learn time.

Is it only tcm or also ecm that has to learn it?

Shouldn't need to wait for adaptives to learn if it's set up right.

The file for tsears has been sooooooooo changed up it's hard to even do anything with it short of starting from stock.

Hell, I'm far from the best on A6s. I'm still trying to get some of my old OEM buddies to put me in contact with the A6 crew at GM but nobody's biting. :(

Are u guys using a program to unzipped the files? I can't seem to get them to act right on my tuning pc

download 7zip for windows and you'll be able to unzip the file and load the .htp

Tune is getting better. We've flashed back to the stock TCM and basically started over. Setting up for triple duty, (D) daily driving, (S) track use, (M) Canyons (kinda). Working with Steck almost everyday. Props to Dave.
