No pick up date yet, but it is really from my side at this point. Shooting for sometime in Feb since my January is booked. :(

Sorry, no luck there. Have the big annual Board Meeting here in Florida next week. Those are always grueling meetings... Hope you have fun there. Sounds like a blast. Do some 'nice' burnouts for everyone...

Which dyno, the 540 ? Glad he liked it.

I wish I could find one of the old turbine dyno videos. Those are pretty sick to watch. 21,000 rpm at 100% N1 and then to ensure integrity they do a quick burn to upward of 140%. Sounds like it is going to explode !!

BTW - these were putting out 3750 SHP at 100%. Overdriving them and the fuel controllers made for some interesting power numbers. Then we added methanol injection to lock the N1 and N2 up quicker. Pretty messed up...

(Quick explanation - N1 is the rpm of the Input shaft, N2 is the rpm of the output shaft)

Those engines were in the C-55 V hull.
To give you an idea of the scale, the boat is 55 feet long.
We would push rooster tails a couple hundred feet long.
Those props are kinda of like an out-of-control blender...
