So Mike Haddad had a prototype Billet Products shifter and wanted to install it in my car. I felt the GM Hurst short throw was a bit "notchy and clunky". Well this thing is super smooth.





I had a TCI line lock installed and I found a Hurst shift knob that has a 12v button to activate the line lock. Haddad's guys installed a toggle switch in the center console to deactivate it so I don't accidentally activate it.

TCI is the company that makes it. The line lock work awesome at the track, but all my times were always .2 sec slower than my best times. On a few runs I missed shifts so I'm kinda frustrated with myself. The new clutch and spring is very stiff and I need to get better.

Hey inferno nice job with the T3 ports! Im thinking of buying me some T2 ones. Is it pretty easy to install?

Im afraid I might mess up if I do it, damn the Body shop will charge a few bills thats for sure!

I'm not gonna say it's a easy install because taking the front clip off is not a quick job. I'm sure after installing the first ports I'll bet it would be easier the next time.
