I'm sure this has been asked about a bazillian times, but I'm trying to figure out the best RPM to launch at in my M6. I've got nitto invos. I feel like I can hook pretty well at 2200, but my buddy tells me I need to shoot for closer to 35-3600. I can't imagine leaving at that RPM without burning up my tires or clutch. Any advice on this?

How are those INVOS compared to the stock Pirellis?

They hook a little better IMO. My friend has the NT05's on his car, and he launches with relative ease at 3600 at the track, so I may be switching to those as soon as I wear down the INVOS. The tread life seems to be pretty comparable or maybe slightly better than the Pirellis.

So, I have a question. Do we need to have a separate set of fast lists for the SS models? The reason I ask is that a stock ZL1 will be quite a bit faster than a stock SS, so most of those people will get bumped out of the fast list (probably most of the modded SSs as well). Since we have a separate one for the V6 is seems only fair the guys with the LS3/L99 engine have a separate one as well.
