Yeah, I saw the cop too, but was oblivious as usual. Wife told me this morning about the thumbs up. Nice to see the appreciation rather than the ticket.

I have never experienced but always heard of the "Unusual Close contact" with Law Enforcement to but see it in person was coooool. For those who werent there.....Finally got a chance to "spread our wings" on a little open stretch of semi-windy road.

Just as we get a little wind in our face, I see an SUV facing us on the side of the road, way up ahead....I stay in it cuz....cuz....cuz.....(it was fun). The closer we get, I start seeing a luggage rack on top of the roof. The luggage rack slowly "Shape shifts" into a light bar. I tell Darla, "Man I hope that is not a cop"!....IT WAS......

......and am just waiting to see him pull out behind us

....(Lets see speeding times 6-8 cars equals taking the rest of the day off.)

Plus he could have written a bunch of No Front Plate tickets. I love that section of 49. It is one of my favorites. I almost got nailed there three weeks after I got my car.

What a great day to go for a drive and spend time with some terrific folks. Really enjoyed it! Nice combination of cars and colors. Looking forward to the next one.

CamaroAmy just saw the thread for Treasure Island. I blocked that weekend so I can try and make it. It would be nice to get the Lodi/Stockton/Modesto guys to ride together.
