Not to hijack, but the new leather seats are a vast improvement over the 4th gen's plasticized rat-scrotum "leather" seating. They're not quite the alcantara-wrapped Recaros we've got in the S4, but to the Camaro's defense, the S4 was a much more expensive car. The new stuff isn't bad. Perfect-no, but decent-yes.

I just got COTW and I have an LS, The reason I got the LS was to spend money on the things I wanted to. How many people do you know with an xbox360 and ps3 hooked up thin their camaro?

No matter what car you have, there are always going to be haters out there. Most of the time they say these comments because they are jealous and that is the only way they feel they can make you feel lower and get a rise out of you.
Dont let it bother you. Next time it happens, ask them what they drive and no matter what they say, tell them not everyone can afford a Camaro.

When I had my LS and when the college kids would pick on me cause I had the V6 I would say..."Hey it gets good gas mileage. Also, what do you drive? A piece of crap? So shut up ok? Ok."

It put them in their place real quick. But idk what works for the 30+ age people

You know what's funny? Get some RS rims, interior trim kit and Katskins leather seats all for under 2400 and no one would know the difference.

In my mind the LS was offered to us for affordability and for the ease of customizing. Don't worry about the people that don't have one, they're just pissed because you picked up the best looking car on the market.(In my mind)

Dont forget, must of the judges at car shows are a bunch of snobs and are usually in the back pockets of their friends that enter. It's all a bunch of politics at these things. I've never subjected any of my cars/bikes to a show. As a spectator you can leave when you want, and go out and have fun while the "lawnchair" folks sit around waiting for their precious $5.00 plastic trophy.

They are the RPO/option codes for the two V8 engines. The L99 V8 comes in the auto, the LS3 comes in the manual cars. The V6 is the LLT or the LFX, depending on they year. Both are the 3.6L.

To the OP -- who gives a flying f*** whether it's an LS, LT, RS, SS, Z28 or otherwise. It's a Camaro and that's what counts.
