A quick question for ECC. Has anyone heard of Adams tuning? Was told today that the shop is here in NW Florida and he has a dyno, does tuning, performance mods, etc. I can't find a thing about it online. Anybody heard of them?

Yes, Johnny Adams tunes BUT he is mostly import oriented (no pun intended). He just moved shops and last I knew his dyno was not up and running yet.

Johnny has Adams Automotive. If you are doing shorties that is easy and no tune should be required. Long tubes are a little more involved and will require a tune. I'm wit Zebra there XXX in P=cola would be the place and if James Weeks is still around I'd have him tune it on their dyno.

Any definitive word on this? Even at a 1/8th track, I agree with Rick, it's where to do this.

I learned the hard way..... it sucks when you get popped for speeding when you have a fast car at a you're young. You end up paying out the arse for insurance the next 5 years.

Panama Beach Raceway AKA Breakaway Dragway will re-open for T & T on Sunday January 22. I'll admit this is not a great facility, but I continue to get my best 1/8 mile times at this track. Still haven't run that fast in the 1/8th up at SGMP. http://www.facebook.com/breakaway.dragway1?sk=wall

I know there's a John Weeks running around down here (ex Vengeance guy) that's doing street tunes for dirt cheap.

I have a contact for him I can get to you Saturday.

I can also talk to folks needing some help with headers...

Thank you to everyone! I don't have headers in hand yet. Will be a month or two yet. I am just wrapping up my research process. Going ARH and Corsa. Jannetty e-mail tune. May install myself, may have it done; haven't made up my mind yet.

Brian....In case you aren't aware Ivan and his wife ARE Southwest Speed. You need to talk to him about headers and prices. You can't deal with better people and they are "one of us".
