Please bring a $5.00 or less "prize" to be placed in a pool to be awarded to the bowlers. Car related is a plus. If kids are bowling, please bring something cheap and fun for kids that is age appropriate. We will draw prizes based on average score of the two games. Is everybody cool with that?

We can meet early for lunch at either Sushi House (Chinese/Japanese), Fridays (Flair), or I am open to suggestions.
Yeah I will be there on the 21st. Might not bowl or just a single game. It just depends on how quickly we get through one game. I have to beat my moms, an hour south of CR, by 3:30 or 4. (or sooner, I will have to verify the time)

Not a big fan of sushi but Friday's sounds good to me.

Applebees(...duh!) it is. Say 11:30? That way we have time to eat prior to the 1:00 meet up at the alley.

Looks like we will have 8-10 bowlers thus far.

Cool.

As far as dyne day mike said he would to 100 bucks for overhead and 40 per car. Plus we bbuy lunch from wild wood who would cater to us. Will call for pricing. He will video everything and provide copies. It would be two pulls one for hp and trq, and one for 1/4 mile time and mph. Any cars over ten are free, but time would only be from 9to5. So say we had 10 cars it would be 50 a person plus food. Guessing ten a plate that is high end so 60 a person at 10 and anymore would pay equal share. So if this sounds good let's work on numbers and a date.

1-6 inches now! Woo-hoo...she going to be happy...and bored. Tee hee.

I. Am. An. Idiot. There are no Fridays in Cedar Rapids (we suck for restaurants around here in case you were curious)

It's APPLEBEES! (They are both red and black and have crap all over the walls...sue me)

And if it is a rolling floor style dyno...I may be in. I would like to know the numbers now that it has some miles on it.

Sounds like you guys are going to get a decent amount over there. They are only expecting 2" of snow here.

You know what is really funny about the Applebee's comment is the other day I was commented on going to Friday's but before I made the post I re-read your post to make sure I had the right restaurant, I initially had it as Applebee's but changed it to Friday's haha.

All runs should be closed hood.

People should understand that the 1/4 ET and mph dyno run will NOT be what they would see at a track-there are way too many other variables that can't be duplicated on a dyno. Also understand that the car's HP/TRQ may be different at upper RPM levels on the street, due to different air intake styles.

If attended, I would desire to skip the 1/4 mile option and just have two HP/TRQ runs made for comparison, as they are affected by heat soak/DA day change/etc-depending on run order.

It would be a good time no matter the results.
I agree with this. The mods I have/will have will be benefitted more by having a closed hood run. I have Roto-Fab and I hope to have the ADM Scoop on the front.

That sounds pretty reasonable to me. Let's do this!
