I can speak for a A6 L99 before tune ahh ahhh .. hmmm... after tune wwwwwweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee....... now thats better.

Sounds awsome! I know you can pick those headers up from summitracing.com. You can get them in Stainless, ceramic, etc.

On a serious note, after the headers (stock tune) I could definitely tell the low end rpm range was stronger. I took her to the track and my 1/4 mile ETs consistently dropped .2, but I only gained .5 mph (confirming my suspicions that the low end was stronger, but top end felt the same). With the tune, the lower rpm range felt a little stronger, but the upper rpm range is where I really felt her pull. Took her to the track and ran 13.0 @ 111 and 12.7 @ 111. This past weekend I went to the track again and ran 12.9 @ 111.35 and 12.9 @ 112.01.

Best before headers (stock headers, JBA HF cats, CAI): 13.3 @ 109.1 (averaged 13.3 - 13.5 @ 107-109)

Best after headers (stock tune): 13.1@ 109.6 (averaged 13.1 - 13.2 @ 109.5 - 109.8)


Best after JRE tune: 12.7 @ 111. (average 12.9 @ 111)

Nice! I ran 12.8-12.7 at 110.9-111.3 stock and after adding headers the track was closed but I really liked what it did for the car. I have a tune and roto-fab for after hibernation.

Nice . Our track here isnt very friendly DA wise. Fastest stock LS3 at the CA Speedway is 13.3 @ 107.
