Also there is NO MORE allocations being picked up for January... so if we get february think about it... December people got picked up, 3 months later we do... if december has a delievery of march then 3 months after that will be june.. actually this is what GM planned in the begining... we just got screwed and hit last :/

I’m in the same situation, my dealer had no allocation when I placed my order, but he was the only dealer in my area that would sell at MSRP. So when I placed my order on 11/11/2012, and saw on 12/13/2012 it went to status 2030 I knew that GM was looking at it, for what reason no idea so it got me thinking. I emailed GM and explain to them that my order was placed and my dealer had no allocation, and I wanted to know if my car would be built for 2012.
I received a reply that state because of the nature of my information, they would rather talk to me via phone. I sent them a phone number, and a service rep called me.
I told her I just wanted to know if my car would be produced for 2012, and if not please let me know so I can cancel my order, and place one for a model year 2013. She said she would verify by calling production and would call me back. She did and said she was told it would be produced but did not know when. And she would call me with an update.
She called me two more times, once before Christmas, and then a week after Christmas with basically the same info. My car was still schedule to be produced, and production could not give her a date.
So know I don’t know what to do, should I have some faith and wait it out, or should I find another dealer with an allocation. I don’t mind waiting if it is in fact going to be produced in 2012.
I suggest maybe some of you in the same situation, call GM customer support and see what they tell you, either it’s going to be produced or it’s not.

It honestly in the air... Im not getting my hopes up anymore... im officially saying im not getting one... im still staying it but atleast people will stop asking me where it is... this is a joke and the reason why Chevy filed bankruptcy... couldnt follow through what was anticipated... this has been hell... i have been told march, april, may, now june?!?! i mean who leads someone on for so long and expects me not to think they are misleading just to keep my deposit... if you look it up this is simple false advertising... i hate my dealership they are all liars... they lied to me since day one and still are doing it... its becoming really annoying at this point :/

The solution is simple, you have options.
1. Relax and stay with your dealer and wait
2. Find another dealer and place a new order and see if it moves before your first one. If so cancel your first order.
3. Call GM Customer Support and see if you can get a real answer on your current order.

I checked with my dealer... they insisted they had me in an allocation... but until i see definitive proof... its BS

Hopfully that cars that are at 2030 now go to 2000 within the next few days. Most of the cars at 3000 or above went to 2000 from 2030 within two days on 12/13/11. Some stayed at 2030 and it seems GM made their rounds again. Those cars now have another 2030 to their list but with a 1/13/12 date. Perhaps the 2030's will get picked up soon.

I certainly hope so. This is the first time I have ever ordered a car so this is all a new experience for me and I know in the end it will all be worth it, but my wife will be the first to tell you I am not a patient person. Ha ha

Still sitting at 1100, NO movement yet…Called my dealer today and he claims no ZL1’s are in production as of now and he can’t get a definitive answer from GM as to when production will start, just sometime in January is all he got. This car will be worth the wait. The way I see it, the longer I wait the larger the down payment and that spells smaller car payments. As long as it’s here by summer…..

Thats true, I just notice that my 2030 status was updated on 1/13/12....

I hope this is true, unfortunately I am very skeptical as both my dealer and drakes told us it would be at least a few weeks before we have a chance to be picked up.

Mine is also at 2030/1100. My dealer has no idea. No big deal. I may dump the order on the 2012 and just wait for a 2013. I still can't wrap my head around 60K for a car I will drive 3000 mile per season. It is no doubt going to be an epic car...maybe too epic for how I use it...

For those waiting, be patient. This car will be worth the wait. It will be able to use every hp it puts to the ground. There are very few muscle cars that are in this car's league.
