Now that Pioneer has made an April promise of an Android app radio, I'll be happy if this kit makes it by then. If not, under protest, I will probably go with the Schosche. I'm not whining, I'm not complaining, I'm just stating that this kit is my number one choice, with Schosche a distant second.

They are set up for android like they have been for apple in the past. You can run nav and everything off your android phone on it

Ok. So. I've felt pretty strongly about wanting to keep my dash looking as stock as possible. however, with the introduction of a new double din radio that retrains steering wheel controls, has double preamp outputs, cleaner sounds, nav, still retains blue tooth and all the other goodies but ADDS app software? Dude...I just might be IN on this one. I'm not so keen on a lot of the new set ups for the double din. But, I think I like the new one that retains the stock looking AC knobs and all.

Shoot....I could go for this....

WHEN WILL IT END?!?!

I agree! What model Pioneer is this? I was looking at the App Radio from the post above. If I am reading correctly are they saying its an extra $100 for the App software? I am not complaining, just trying to give myself a budget for when this finally comes out. Not sure if i NEED the App addition or not haha

All 2012 kenwood models do apps. Some more than others, but all do the nav apps, pandora radio, and serius xm.

I'm liking the Pioneer. Brand hasn't been a huge thing for me. I'll take a Kenwood if it's GOOD. I know Pioneer as well...had one a long, long time ago.

But, I DO want to retain all my stock knobs, controls, etc, steering wheels controls, etc AND get cleaner sound along with nav and apps. Too cool...
