Beautiful car. I still can't stand the flat black stripes though. GM really dropped the ball there.

I do think SOOCH's glossy black stripes look sweet, but I really like the contrasting look of the flat black stripes on the victory red color. It really makes it pop. It also helps with glare off of the hood.

Thanks for the additional pics! I have been following your posts closely, as I ordered the same color combo. Wasn't sure about those flat black stripes at first but I think they're starting to grow on me. If you feel like posting more pics, please do!

Welcome to 6 days ago.

They are on all early SS's. It's a temorary fix. They will be relaced with new calipers when they are available.

I'll try to get more pics tomorrow. We had a downpour a couple of hours after I shot these, and its been gloomy ever since. Hopefully it clears up for Sunday!

The stripes really do look great. I wasn't sure if I would like the flat black, but I really do! Sure they're kind of different, but it really adds character to the car!

I somewhat agree with you here? What is the reasoning behind having black come in flat finish only? You would think that enough GM employees are members of this forum or read this forum that they would do something about this.
