Nothing that Pontiac makes has turned me on since the Firebird, and I still drive an 02 to work every day. The GTO looks like a Grand Am and the 4-doors lose to the Japanese cars just like most of the rest of American 4-doors do. And the G-8 is a high horsepower overpriced 4-door loser!
I special ordered 95 and 02 Firebird SLP Firehawk cars, but I can understand why GM is dumping the brand- they need to dump the stupid goofballs in the design department for Pontiac too! They are part of the problem, not the solution, for the General!

What was so exciting about a car covered in plastic panels with 2 fake "ram air' hood scoops and all you could get in a Grand Am with a stick, was a 4 banger. Or the re badged Cavalier as a Sunfire. This had nothing to do with OBAMA!

Okay, some different news coming in...
GM is denying any rumors of dropping Pontiac and says that it's still in the plans as a specialty-niche brand...whether or not they're just saying that, we don't know. But as far as we know, this may just be one huge rumor blown out of proportion.
