Not going to argue with you. READ WHAT IT SAID. The GTR ran in WET CONDITIONS on FACTORY TIRES. The ZR1 Ran with AFTERMARKET SAFETY EQUIPMENT AND SLICKS/DOT Competition Tires AND A ROLL CAGE. Do you think the GTR would run slower with DOT Tire/Slicks and a Cage with other Aftermarket equipment? Really?

The Michelin Pilot Sport Cup tires are DOT street legal tires. They are not slicks.

No, it doesn't come from the factory with Cup tires, a roll cage, and other "equipment" I know what they are, I had RA-1's on my purpose built 03 Cobra that had a full cage, and every suspension mod imaginable.

I'm willing to accept that the GTR is as fast around the ring as the ZR1...but I still would take the ZR1 any day of the week for ownership. They both are badass but I like the vette's looks and mystique better. why don't we see any mustang ring time numbers in this discussion..are they embarassing or something?
