Does anyone know what fluid to use in a ss m6 transmission, and how much? I want to change my tranny fluid.

It's 4.2 quarts. The official fluid is GM Part # 88861800. I cannot find specs on the GM fluid. The AMSOIL guy recommended Severegear 75W90. I haven't heard back from Royal Purple, though I've heard good things about their "synchromax" manual transmission fluid.

Thank you, I think it's the same as the diff fluid. I used Royal Purple for that I think it was the same weight.

The wheels are hard to keep clean as is. Lots of brake dust. Can't imagine how dirty it would get on a dirt road.

Wish I could make SIR on the 28th; however, it's my wife's birthday and I don't think that would go over very well.

Spent the day at Barrett-Jackson today. Got up close (sat in and popped the hood) to a ZL1. Wasn't available to drive it on the test track, but did get to ride around with one of the Bondurant drivers in a Z06 (I think I hurt my neck!). Also had one of the new COPO cars on the showroom floor.
Tons of 1st gen Camaros on the block this year, every color and flavor! Didn't buy a car (again), but got some nice shirts!

Thanks! It's hard to find a 5th gen that isn't.
Looking forward to checking out your ride.

Is it a motor or a solenoid? You can try removing it and apply power to see if it reacts. Is there a fuse somewhere in the line that may have blown?

Check the cigerette lighter fuse. I am 95% sure I wired the power from there.
