Hadn't thought of that one. Give's me a solution for my spinning collar locking nuts if I ever lose the key.

For thieves, they could just use this instead...

Very frustrating and sad that this kind of crap occurs, but you have to establish priorities in this life, especially these days. I would never even consider having a nice car like our Camaros sitting outside in a parking lot, unprotected. Not intended for the OP because he was an unfortunate victim of circumstances, being caught between homes and a garage, but for you young guys: before buying a nice ride, move into a duplex, condo or even an apartment complex that has the option of a garage BEFORE you lay down your hard earned cash for a high profile vehicle!

After spending all the money on these wheels/tires, and waiting 3 months for them, god I need locking lugs. Only problem is that NONE will fit.

Anyway, I am going to rent one of the apartment garages until I can buy a house with a garage here. I have no confidence that they will not be stolen again as soon as I get it fixed. There was one other camaro in the apartment complex. It is a V6 and she also had her tires stolen the same night. Thanks for all you kind words. It definently hurts to see my pride and joy look this way.
Sorry to hear about this, OP. Hope you get your garage real soon, it's the only practical protection. Except for the Trunk Monkey, of course.

Yes, so true. But I have had jobs where I've had to relocate and spend a couple of months in temp housing before getting some place with a garage. Fortunately no longer, as things stabiized once I got into my 40's and now 50's. But for a while there, I wasn't always able to have a garage because I wanted a better and better job. Which, catch-22, is how I was able to get the Camaro.

Car alarms, locks ... Everyone has a nosy neighbor, I don't see how this happens in an apartment complex with no one noticing. Takes some surveillance going in to it for your car to get ripped off like that.

I bet four guys knowing what they are doing could strip those wheels off in minutes. I know four guys and two 2x4s can haul a Harley on the back of a pickup in two minutes.

Yea but bikes are different .. Slip 2x4's through the spokes lift it, shits gone. Happens every year at the bike weeks. I guess if you had 4 guys it'd be some what quick. But they are not silent ninjas. If my alarm didn't go off I'd be pissed. They should start a pit crew for NASCAR
